I've been lurking for awhile, and as I'm sure you understand a noob can find the sheer volume of information overwhelming. Starting on this path can be itself the greatest challenge. I'm the kind of person that burns bridges...once I make up my mind I go all out or don't bother... so I'd rather spend my time trying to master a $1-10K + /day method than one that's not likely to surpass $100. If I fail, little will change except my learning, but if I succeed the difference in roads chosen could be big. So If you'll forgive such a vague question from a noob, what path should I go down that could reap the most green?

I have a good background in IT (except for coding), and a few hundred I could invest if necessary. I also have lots of time and copious computing power.

Sorry if something similar has been posted- if so please redirect me- I did a search but found nothing similar.

The master method is to give few days of work to every method you find here. Some guys here are still making money from methods posted in 2009! I tried few methods which didn't give me any money and i thought they are saurated and, to my surprise, few days later someone writes he just banked a good dollar with it.
You need to find your way.
 
I respect that it depends a lot on the individual, but that said, there are still methods which are overall more lucrative. For example, if you did a statistical analysis of each method based on actual results...you would find major discrepancies. I don't care so much about what would be most suitable to me individually because coming from an IT background, it's all about IT and technological leverage; everything else is secondary.
 
there is no universal master method to stick to bro - with a method some are raking on cash, others barely make and a cent. Everybody is different and you need to find out and try some methods and see at which you will do best. Just take a look around, there are lots of methods explained, so pick up some that you think you can handle and succeed

Exactly.

The fact is, some people make $x,xxx daily with a method that another cannot even make $x daily with. The only way to really make money in Internet Marketing is to: read, try, fail, try, fail, try, fail, read, try, fail, etc... until you find a method that works for YOU.

Reading this place can be overwhelming, but what you must realize is that no one is going to give away their "golden goose". Yes, you will find methods that make money, but you will never find out if you will personally succeed with that method until you try it and find your own way to improve it.

You may find methods and general ideas, but no one is gonna give you every letter in the word, just the word itself. Do you understand?

So pick something.
YT + monetize
MNS + monetize
Email Campaign + monetize
Article Writing Service
etc

Monetize methods can include: PPD, PVA, PPC, Clickbank, Amazon, and MUCH more.

For most methods out there you can choose how YOU want to monetize it.
It all depends on what YOU want to do and how YOU want to spend your time.
The method, no matter how good, will never work if you don't work it.

In the end, you will need two things:
#1 Traffic
#2 Monetize method set in place

Everything else is up to how YOU like to do things.
Want to create videos? YT
Want to collect emails and send them offers directly? Email campaign
Want to write blogs? MNS
Want to write articles for other people's blogs? Article Writing Service
Want to create bots and programs for people? Code

We don't know what you are good at or what you are interested in doing.
You just need to decide what you like to do, read a couple of methods (reading IN BETWEEN THE LINES as well), and most importantly...

TAKE ACTION.

The most valuable and profitable method is the one you act on. Period.
 
Thanks for the replies, but I'm still hoping for some objectivity with this...let me put it this way. Say I go to meet my stock broker, I ask him what is hot right now. He isn't going to say "whatever you think would work for you."

I guess that's all I'm asking :"What is hot right now?"
 
Experiment, experiment, experiment.

You should be able to fully explore a method in a few days of work. You may need to then leave it a while to see if revenue kicks in, but after you've spent those few days working on it, move onto the next method and give it a try.

The beauty of the internet is that you can try a method for peanuts, or even for free. This removes all barriers to trying things out.

Outside in the bricks and mortar world, you'd need to invest in premises, staff, etc. to try out a new business idea. Online, you can do it in hours for the cost of your internet connection.

I'm not trying to be an asshole, but you just aren't getting it.

Many stocks are "hot" one minute and cold the next. The difference is in the style of trading. One trader is willing to invest wait 10 years for chance at the big payoff while another wants to be a day trader doing computer analyzed and completed trades.
It all depends on YOU.

MANY things are "hot" right now (and have been for years), but that doesn't mean you will make even $0.10 (let alone the possibility of losing hundreds invested) with it because someone else is.

Everything that I listed in my post above is "HOT" right now.

What are YOU willing to do?
Are you willing to upload 200 videos, research keywords and provide social signals?
Are you willing to create a landing page to solicit email addresses and drive traffic?
Are you willing to write articles daily for yourself or other people?
Are you willing to think of a product idea and market it to resellers and affiliates who will sell it for you?

There isn't an answer when the question is not valid.
You will not learn anything by asking to be spoonfed.
You will only learn by DOING.

Stop reading, stop asking, start DOING.
Then, once you've taken action and want to refine your method, come back and see what different people have contributed to different methods.
Then, find your own twist on the groundwork that has been laid out.

Can't make it work?
Try something else.

Do this again and again until you find out what works for you.
Once you do find out a method that works, scale it up.
Do this until you are happy with the income or you are tired of doing that.

Rinse, repeat.

The most lucrative way is by working until you learn how to make money very easily. I make very easy money and barely work, and like me anyone who knows how to do it will not share with other people. It takes a lot of hard work to do, chances of you just coming across something which will make you 1000's a day are very slim. People who make 1000's a day work on a basic idea till they perfect it as good as it can be, this is only done through trial and error.
 
I think there are lots of BH methods that are still working on, if you are looking for BH ways, make sure it is updated and you must know also its consequences

That's not an apples to apples comparison.

There is no method that cannot out-earn another method, depending on your talents, disposition, interests, etc. There is ... LITERALLY ... no objective answer to your question.

More or less, you're falling for a pretty common assumption ... that there is one or a few "methods" that are inherently superior in earning potential. It's simply not true.

LOL! A lot of those have been "hot" for a decade. ;)
 
I can't find the thread, but some guy said he made thousands just by BHW methods, he would choose a method, paste it in a word doc, stayed off BHW(to prevent procrastination by reading like a mad man), then stuck to that method for as long as he could while adding twists of his own. If the method worked he would keep that word doc in a folder of methods that are successful otherwise he would delete that shit. Hope this helps.
 
There is no real answer since really their is to many methods that can make money if you stick with them.
This industry is massive and it is not usually the methods not making money. It is the people not properly using them.
