    Hey everyone,

This tool I built for myself and have used it enough now where I'm comfortable to go public with it. I have built up almost 2,000 backlinks total to various sites that I've used this tool on. One of those sites has over 700K hits in the past 2 months and is now ranked in the 700,000's. It's a niche site too! I'm not sure if this falls under black hat or not. But its a damn useful tool that I've used to build up some major backlinks. It could be considered controversial, thus the reasoning for blackhat possibilities. If you think about it, it's black hat whoops.

This free backlink tool is a directory that displays "Submit URL" sites with traffic rank information displayed as you browse. So you can pick the type of traffic you are looking for. Also I suggest have the g**gl3 toolbar installed so you can monitor PR as you go. I would have put PR on the directory too but G**gl3 doesn't allow for multiple requests like l3xa does. PR might get installed intermittently IDK wait n see

I can't post the site directly on this forum So lets treat this like a "Treasure Hunt"

    This will be fun!

To get to the pot of gold (Two thousand plus free backlinks),

Goto Y0utube and do a search for "Free backlinks"

Watch the Second, Third, or Fourth result, the movies have the link contained within them.

I'm sorry for the goose chase, I'm sure you all understand. At least this creates some adventure right?

At the end there is a nice big bright shiny $hitload of backlinks waiting for you.. completely free, just takes time. I'm still pondering if I should charge for this or not, so it might not be free forever. Let me know your opinions on it b/c I can make tweaks to it as we go.. I would like some input from the pro's here.. I've read some amazing stories of very nice earnings that I wouldn't mind participating in.... $$$$$$ it's what were here for right?

Why do we need to complete quests to get something? Youtube results may be different!

Nice idea, but I can't register because of two error messages requesting me to fill something what is not in the registration form.

    These are the error messages:

You need to specify a value for 'Have you been to www.eautocad.com?'.
You need to specify a value for 'Have you been to www.xxixbeijingolympics.com?'.

Free Links, but they all look very spammy. Use at your own risk as I highly doubt this will help your SERPS.

I also doubt the value of these links. Regarding the submission, I've expected to find something more convenient, then browsing page by page for finding the 2000 sites. I'd prefer to Google-search for the places where I want to submit my site. Montfreely, your basic idea is good, but you shall add some convenient features to make your tool popular. You could add some quick selection tools to sort out relevant link directories, and eventually an autofill feature to save your visitors time.

Have a look at Brad Callen's Directory Submitter that offers a semiautomatic method. Check it our at http://directorysubmitter.imwishlist.com/download-free

(There is also a paid version that has a larger database of directories.)

I'm going to have to agree, I was hoping for some way to get automated backlinks, not a directory of directories to hand submit to.

Thank you for the input. It is nice to have some expert opinions, but I would like to tell you why I designed the site the way it is.

Let me know what you think about the following:

I chose the hand picked method because then it allows each user to pick exactly where they want to backlink based on description and traffic ranking. Their maybe certain unknowns that only the business owner themselves should make the choice of backlinks. It is tedious to go through almost 800 pages to complete the 2,000 backlink cycle; but the tool is free, accessible from anywhere, does not require log in, and these facets should make the journey more enjoyable. There may be some backlinking services out there that have specialized links for certain categories, but even this is not going to be 100% accurate. Only the business owner can provide 100% accuracy, therefore I see it fit to have them pick each entry by hand. I really do not like automated backlinking, because then you have no choice of where your PERMANENT backlink goes. This can ruin a website almost instantly if the wrong choice is made. Why risk it? I would rather go through the list 3 by 3 (Easier to not forget where you were last if your visited links don't darken, change color, etc) than have a wam-bam-thank-you-mam backlink program. There is already TONS of free backlink services that are already like that, why create another one?

Regarding categorical listings of backlinks; I chose not to do this because it is a free tool; and I must generate revenue from affiliate advertising. Since my "customers" are webmasters, they're keen to affiliate programs. So that only leaves CPM banners, add's etc. I've setup the site to maximize revenue for these types of ad's. The only way I'll make money on this is if I crank up the pageviews and get CPM revenue. The only way to crank up the page views is to keep everything mixed, so you have to "sift" your way through. Right now, its about 10 pages per visitor. Some go as high as 130 pages in one sitting! It's really interesting to watch the reports... Already today three people returned twice, and viewed about 20 pages a piece... Sounds like their hooked! ;-)

There is multiple facets that this tool satisfies.. The one that I like is that is gives the avid website pioneer something to do. It eats up time, and it's always there.. There's so many pages, you can always go back for more. It facilitates production, and gives a feeling of satisfaction when you see your backlinks # increase by the 10's, maybe even 100's (depending on how avid you are). They're maybe certain aspects about the models I've implied to this website that may be unsatisfactory, however the tool is free and therefore these minor negative aspects are more than likely overlooked.

This is how I got hooked on it.. At first I didn't like it, it seemed overwhelming. So I did a couple, and got results.. I went back and did some more.. More results, then I went at it really hard and did about 200 pages worth and then my website got so much traffic I figured enough is enough.. I had too much work to do to keep up with the traffic I had to stop submitting for backlinks. Otherwise, I would have to hire more personnel and with the current building and construction industry being in the toilet, I'm not hiring anyone until things turn around. It was either stop or go over the edge into "office building" business; the market doesn't suggest it right now.

Also, this tool is VERY new.. and as time goes on, and more people use it, I can arrange the entries by hits, ratings, etc. This will allow for the tool in the future to be better than what it is today. There should be no risk involved if you use a google toolbar and check PR before you submit. As long as your alexa traffic reports and PR ranks are decent I would say your safe to submit.

Now you know my reasons for the way things are, what do you think? Would you agree that this model will succeed? Or is there certain aspects about it that you don't see fit?

Nope. Same slow manual submission is available trough a google search for directories. At least in Google I can customize page view to see 100 links at once and I can apply any filters based on keywords.

Try once socialmarker.com to have an idea of a web based semiautomatic submission tool. If you could do a similar code for submitting not to social sites, but to directories, you will be a winner.
