Over 20 posts but only 2 index in GSC?

Hey!

I have an wp blog with over 20 blog posts but on GSC only appear 2! The sitemap is uploaded and have links for all the websites posts, but I dont even get errors for the posts not showing. When I google for the not indexed posts I dont find them either!

Anyone knows whats going on?

2. submitted to google search console?
3. use rankmath instant indexing plugin

So when you go to the url inspection, and you input a non-indexed URL from your website into the box, what does it tell you?

Is there anything under the “manual actions” option after you click that on the left?

You have only 20 posts which is a very small number to say anything about.

Have you tried manually submitting these posts to GSC? You are allowed to submit 10 URL's per day so it will take only 2 days to do that.

It is quite usual to have very less number of URLs getting indexed and a huge number of pages not getting indexed.

I will not say much about quality of the articles, etc. at this stage because I think 20 is still a very small number to predict anything.

Make sure that all the articles were high quality & unique. As advised submit the URLs on search console for the indexing. You can also do proper internal linking, promote them on social medias, and build some high quality links. Just keep publishing more high quality articles.

This is quite normal these days as those posts do not get indexed naturally especially when a website is new, you should be indexing them manually in GSC and can share on Social platforms for fast indexing. Once your site grown bigger then it won't be required!
