Outsourcing webdesign?

Hi,

I started a website design business not too long ago in Europe, with the idea of making a quick buck by selling WP themes. Now, I might have a couple large companies that I might take up as customers. Which is huge for a legit business. The problem is, that I dont have the balls to do everything myself. I would love to outsource as much of the design/coding process as possible. Also, they will want a Social Media campaign as well.

What are the going rates of getting the websites done? I looking at free lancer etc., can I expect a quality website for ex. for 300 USD? Ideally I would love to form a long-term relationship...

This is just an informative post, in order to know how to set up my price range!

well, 300 is an ok price, the quality would be the concern.
if you can get some good customers, i can build the sites, maybe make this into a JV.

it all depends upon your requirements,if you want your site to have the best design,use latest updated stuffs..etc. then i don't think $300 is enough for that, i'm working on here to open my firm soon (maybe next month, interiors going on), with 3-4 designers and 4-5 devs,making a good team and i'm always looking to JV long-term and get lots of projects so if you're looking for long term relationship outsourcing,then i can provide you good quality work for cheaper prices pm me,we can discuss more about this

I wouldn't tell people who you may outsource to that it's for a large company until after you have agreed on a price for the work...

Outsourcing your work is a great idea because it's really cost effective but I would advise to hire a staff leasing company instead of freelancer because leased staff are permanent workers of a company and are easy to reach in case you need them. Freelancers do not have employers so they do as they please and sometimes cannot be contacted for various reasons. Working with a freelancer reduces the quality of your work by 50%. An outsourcing company on the other hand possesses more experience, knowledge and can deliver high output in a limited time.

The price of $300 is OK.
But instead of hiring freelancers you can hire company for web designing requesting them not to use your work in their profile.
Freelancer is not a good option.
