You SHOULD outsource, man! SEO has so many aspects now that handling them all yourself is quite impossible. Some parts - like say, content creation or on-site, a decent webmaster could probably handle themselves. But by the time they learn about all the off-site techniques, Google will put up some Zebra update and all that knowledge goes down the drain! Outsource, Outsource, Outsource!!

Yes It can do with proper planning and agreement Like NDA ect. You should have understand about what exactly you want sth like that.

Outsourcing SEO is done all the time and some people make a decent amount from it.

I have resellers who sell a product, have me do the work, I email them the reports, then they email their clients the report. I also have other companies outsource their work to me because they want to spend less on server costs for the month, or some other odd reasons they give me lol.

Why not? I have been outsourcing my stuff from last 3 months. No kidding, people i have found on various sites are efficient and quick learner. They follow me and get paid fairly.

I would learn the basics before outsourcing - that way you can judge if the persons knows seo or not. I once interviewed a guy who said backlinking is dead!!! I obviously didn't hire him
