I usually use Odesk/Elance to outsource things like forum profile links, blog commenting and tedious manual link building work, but I am finding them more and more frustrating in terms of the quality of work.

Does anyone have any recommended places to pick up a good freelancer for this type of work - and also any recommended services that are worth looking at?

It may sound funny but there are some serious sellers on fiverr. Spend a little time and you will find sellers with good reviews who deliver on time.

If it's something more specific just make a thread on any forum and I'm sure you're going to find a couple of guys willing to do the job.

I would say that you should check the BST section. It has a lot of good providers. I am personally using it with BTB and Bigbuddy's service and they rock.

You may find good service providers on Buy Sell Services Section or hire a member of BHW as a freelancer on Hire a Freelancer Section
