Outsourcers Stealing Niches

Hi Guys,

Just wondered what your thoughts are on the likliness of VA's / Outsourcers in general, stealing the niche we ask them to work on ie writing articles. I am looking to set up my own authority site and intend on writing most of the content myself. I want quality content on my site, so was looking to hire someone to write a couple of articles (to compare to see if I have what it takes). If I feel my site would benefit from the writer I would outsource the whole lot, but obviously wouldn't want my niche exploited.

Am I being paranoid? Has anyone had this happen? Any services you recommend?
