Outsourced Shopify Store

I’m considering starting up a Shopify business. I’m thinking about hiring VA’s or freelancers to do everything from the setup to managing daily operations. Is it possible or likely for a fully outsourced Shopify store to be successful?

Technically yes..but that’s the equivalent of hiring specialists to building you a hotel and running it?

It will probably work but if you want to make remotely even a bit of money from it you need to come in with a heavy investment.

So do you think it would be worth doing it that way?

If your definition of "Success" is being able to run it, then Yes. But only running a business, that guarantees you make money from it, assuming making money is "Sucess"

It entirely depends on your budget if you have a steady stream of $1000s then yes hiring a bunch of people to do everything for you will probably work.

I would say the thread is solved then. You will need to handle the parts you can’t afford yourself as most do when starting a business, outsource only what you can afford ensuring to always leave a buffer.

I think any boss that not done there own housework a lazy fucker sorry.

there no reason not getting a corse to follow it there plenty in the download section.

a business is built up from scratch learning what works what doesn't.

when you got your business running then pass jobs to VA to give you more freedom.

you only get what efforts you put in business to succeed

You're correct. I am currently setting up few Shopify stores with few part time VA. I do everything myself first and then train one or more VA to do it. Not all VA are honest and lie about how long it takes them. I hired someone this week part time my established VA trained her on how to do simple data entry that it takes him 30 seconds to do. He assigned her some test work and when she finished it she claimed it took her over 13 hours to do or 9+ mins per simple data entry. If you dont know how long work takes VA's can take advantage of you. Even more so applies to theme configuration if you're using premium paid theme. Last week I purchased a paid theme I never used before and it had a lot of theme options to configure as well as it had several apps built in that had their own section. It took ~2 hours to go thru all the sections, change colors of all individual pages, tested apps and previewed store until I got an idea of which modules / apps I would be using for this particular store and which I would not. VA without any idea of what direction the store should go with can spend dozens of hours trying to twist theme left and right. If you dont know how it works and what you want to accomplish your VA will not know either.

You need to know your business inside and out before you let complete strangers run it for you.
