Outsource Blog or Keep Writing Myself?

Hi all,

I am wondering how many of you outsource your writing and why?

I have a few reasons why i am considering it.

What are your thoughts?

I outsource the writing, plus the linkbuilding, I hate this type of tedious manual work and other people who specialize in it can do the job better than I can while I focus on other things.

I pay a premium price for a great team which certainly helps.

A wise man once told me: You can either pay with your time or pay with your money, time you can't get back but money you can. Life is short, don't forget!

I think if you are expert in writting then do it yourself if you are free but outsourcing is much better option because taking a help of professional s gives you positive result as compare non professional
 
Depends what your output strategy is, if all your doing is posting 2 or 3 posts on your site a month, might be easier just to write them yourself, if you have many sites, or are trying to meet more challenging publishing goals, then you need to outsource, especially if your blog pays.
 
I'm not english native so i outsource content, from time to time i write an article or two but 90% of my content is outsourced.

Very wise words.

I'm trying to scale....but I can't if I keep doing all ofthe writing.
 
Questions to ask yourself
1. Can you afford to hire a writer?
2. Do you have time to do the writing?
3. Are you a good writer?
4. Do you have good grammar and a good command of the language?
5. What is your priority, when it comes to your website? Is it writing or other tasks on your website?
6. Do you love writing or does it stress and frustrate you?
7. Would you rather spend time writing or spend it with your family or friends or on some leisure activity?

Answering these questions will help you decide what the best course of action is.

If you have time to research and good at writing informative and engaging content about the topic you can do it, if not better to outsource it. It depends on your strategy, don't compromise in content quality, this will help in the long term.
 
Everything depends on your budget and available time. If you find yourself better at the SEO aspects of your site or have a large budget then go right ahead.
 
It really depends. If you are the best blog writer in the world, outsourcing will be a very bad idea. (Joke but you got the point yeah?) I prefer writing blogs because I think I kind of good at it. It brings organic traffic and make them stay. If you are someone who isn't good at writing or if you have anything more valuable to invest your time, outsource
 
Write them myself unless I am too busy. Still haven't found a decent writer yet, but once I do I will outsource it.
 
Depends how best to manage your time... Id like to do more but I don't have the time and as I've yet to find the "perfect" writer It's not been something I've put much effort into doing. I've tried $4 writers and $150 writers I just don't click with any and I think that's a big part of it unless you just need to churn content..

I've always found getting writers in they lack the personal touch unless you find someone who is crazy on the subject but no one still has the same passion as you!

Personally I've found the articles I've written have had more traction and shares vs the info stuff I sub to get written.. It's a mix bag of results.
 
I write articles myself though I am not native English speaker.
I want to outsource, but I find it hard to find a good writer. To be honest, I tried a few times, but the content quality could not satisfied me. Worse than writing myself.
 
Anytime I have outsourced writing I have hated the articles. It's time consuming but I will do it myself for now since I enjoy writing, and then once I start making good money I will try to find a write I actually want to use.
