Outreach tips, guides, and courses?

I'm at the point where I have 3 big skyscraper posts and 2 useful linkbait tools. One is a custom tool for my niche that took 2 months of programming to make-- it's my baby.

However now i'm emailing lots of bloggers and only get links from like 1 in 20 emails I send, and all want payment. A lot of sites I drool over their metrics, but they never reply.

How to be persuasive with your emails?

I thought if I made these super useful cool tools, people would link for free, but it seems to not be the case.

Maybe i need to try and be friends with everyone first? Like email them asking for nothing just saying i love their site, then comment for weeks on all their new posts. Essentially, become a superfan, so they notice my content organically. What do you think?

Anyone have any favorite outreach courses and whitehat SEO courses? I watched the Brian Dean one, the Lab, and Gotch SEO, so far. I used their strategies to 'make posts for bloggers' and not for the seo traffic.

Brian Dean has the worst strategies imo. They no longer work or work only in the SEO/IM space where bloggers suck each other off constantly. Gotch SEO's stuff is decent.

That's some creepy stuff. If you want to appear on bloggers' radar, you don't need to be that importunate. I'd like a couple of their posts/photos on socials and write a couple of relevant comments (not 'I love your blog so much' stuff), just like you would normally do to catch the attention of a girl you liked.

Considering cold emails, try writing letters not using outreach templates from 'SEO gurus'. Make some sort of a compliment relevant to their blog. Don't ask for a link, if your tool is worth sharing they will do it. If your tool is kinda mediocre, why would they do it for free? Focus on their benefit, not yours.
