Hey BHW,

Been studying SEO for some time now and implementing it into my business.

I've purchased paid links from outreach services, and they are quite costly depending on DR (ranging from $79-$400)

and I've also briefly done manual outreach and acquired 2 links, although the blog owners required to be paid as well and prices were competitive with the outreach service.

I'm thinking about creating a system to do manual outreach and tasking it to an employee to see how the results are, and if we can acquire links for cheaper than paid services.

I have an offshore office and labor is affordable.

My question for all of you is, should I pursue in-house outreach, or just pay for links through a service?

Depending on number of links and websites you gonna work with!
In-house can be better if the no is more and recurring factor is involved. If it's a one time activity or the count is less then go for buyers/agencies

Extract the referring domains from your competitors and hire cheap VA to contact an each website manually. This is how I built a huge list of GP accepting sites.

This is exactly what I was going to begin with. Thank you

I have a handful of brands in the same industry. My thoughts were that once we acquire a link or connection we could use them repeatedly across multiple brands. Thank you for the reply

Use ahrefs to build your list and filter only high dr websites. Ahrefs will show you the top links from your competitors. Instruct your team to go through the list and add notes if any require payment.

If you earn enough to maintain an in-house team means you go for it

Think of the maintenance cost, VA charge, and another processing fee if it is higher than the Outreach services means its not good

Better you ask for the services with good discount offers for long term kind of that it will be good or your time and money too

Appreciate this. We have the budget and flexibility to setup a team for it.

I think what I will try doing is negotiating the best monthly link deal I can from the outreah service, as well as setup the in-house team.

After a half year or so we can evaluate which to focus on.

Appreciated

Sounds Good! Keep going and Share your Journey once you get good success in this plan

Yes, if you are looking for a long term and it will help you save money, then it is good to have an in-house team.

I would prefer inhouse if you are looking for large number of links and also you have number of sites that needs same kind of links. Site owners will provide discount if you provide regular orders for them.

Hi, versaceprints
In case if you need more domains for linkbuilding, I can propose my 20+ niche websites. Not ready to be spamming with backlinks there, but ready to place a few relevant to the topic. So feel free to collaborate, contact me in pm

Keep it in-house if you can, but make sure to keep a close eye on the process. I have an in-house team and I make sure EVERY domain goes through me before it's they build a link on it

Outreach service providers - They have huge blog list with them, And yes they have some profit margins.
In house team / VA - You need to pay monthly wage for them. They can get the blogs that are good as well as bad have to analyze them before go with that.

If you have budget you can go with both simultaneously and find out which is suitable for you.

If you will need links only for 1 website than i think you can do it by yourself.

Will take some time but its worth it.

It would most certainly cost less. Much less than what the agency charges you.

But it's time consuming and can be quite repetitive, so you need someone who's job it is to outreach. They should also know what kind of sites to watch out for.

If you need links regularly then you should consider an in house option that not only specializes in outreach but also with pbn's.
Creating own pbn network is of great value and also money saver.
Won't make much difference if it's a one time requirement.

Generate backlinks from your competitors with Ahrefs. If you can do backlinks yourself then it will be better and money-saving. If you can't then you should hire an expert.
