Is it possible to outrank google or apple is the SERPS? What would it take to do it if it is possible?

Before you tear me apart for being a newbie and all that stuff please know that while I am new here I have still been doing the best I can to learn and search the forum.

Yeah, I think it's possible, but not for a long time.. I guess you can be on top for few days, but then you will drop down like a rock.

It really depends on the keyword term. For example if it's an Apple product the chances of outranking the product page on Apple is slim to none unfortunately. I'd suggest attempting to find a different niche if thats the case.

If those big giants are ranking just because they are authority sites and if they are not optimized well for your target keyword, yes, you can outrank them! You need to build backlinks CONSTANTLY

Yes.. look for consistency. There is no meaning for a site to be indexed for some days and again going back. Planning a campaign would be more useful.

It would be for the keyword apps.

I am not afraid to say what its for. That would be the keyword.

What should I do to begin a plan? where do I begin?

Its good to have a strategy for the short and long term. I first suggest

going after all the low hanging fruit. ie: the longer tail keywords. Then when

you start to establish your site as one of authority you can start to target

your shorter tail key words. Also In my experience key words that are 3 4 and

5 words long have better conversion. Building links to your site is a very

important fact that you need to have to compete with the big boys.
