Outranking Etsy, Amazon, etc.

Hi all.

I'm looking at starting an E-commerce store selling a certain item (a variety of items, all different designs of the original).

Currently, Amazon and Etsy are ranking in the top #1, and #2 positions for just about every variation I've looked for.

Their "search-query=EXACTMATCH" pages are what is ranking.

With a proper ecom store setup, along with a great blog full of content and some good backlinks, what do you think the shot is of outranking them?

Unless your site gt authority level it is hard to beat amazon like sites

Depends on how you execute of all those actually. But idk if you can outrank amazon. It depends on a lot of factors, and more time and effort will surely needed for that.

Target low completion words, strong backlinks you can beat them

That's not possible

i think the business case does not justify it. the amount of money and energy that it is going to take you outrank amazon, will not result in the profit that you are seeking. suggest to go after easier keyword.
