Depends on your website quality, content quality, and how old and trustable your website is. But in reality is not hard, just takes some work and a good website.
If you are looking at a new site... You are going to find that all of your seo is going to have to be just about perfect, but it can be done. Just remember to build some high quality links to that page.
Yopu would have to make your websites onsite SEO PERFECT, your link strategy/diversity completely perfect. Also, you would need a LOT of social media exposure. Basically, you'd need it to go viral socially and SEO wise it would have to be perfect. After that, you'd have to maintain all of the work you put in.
Not hard to outrank a wikipedia page since those page will have most of the time only a fraction of your keyword in title, but when the wiki page have the exact keyword in title and have tons of backlinks then it's a little harder but very doable.
Thanks for answers, wiki site has exact kw in title, found new kw to rank, no wiki, first site on google is total crap it has just kw in url, otherwise crap, lot of ads etc..... going for that kw
Thanks once again
Most Wiki article pages will probably hav external links pointing at them, but that's only 1/2 the links, again look at relevant internal supporting pages.
I encounter the similar situation with you. I try to edit some articles and passages on WIKI, and I am the writing and meaning are both OK. But WIKI denies to accept my articles. I am wondering why.
