I've been playing with proxies lately. Found the place in Interent Explorer where you cause it to use a proxy before surfing, but proxies are slow and intermittant.

E-mail however should use that much "bandwidth". So I was thinking it might be useful to send & recieve all my e-mail via proxy. Can OE be setup to send & recieve e-mail via proxy?

Also, if the proxy is high anonymity, how anonymous is it. If I send an e-mail via proxy can it be traced back?

I would assume you would have to create the e-mail account, and never use anything other than high-anonymity proxies. Are IP addresses of previously sent e-mails recorded?

How does this all work?

spend a few bucks a month and get a vpn man, you get vpns these days for as low as $2 a month

I'm learning here. Experimenting. I just want to see if I can setup an e-mail client to send & recieve e-mail via proxy.
