Hello.
Still a bit new to IM so forgive my noobness.
I have found a long tail that looks very promising.
The number 1 spot is a .gov, number 2 and 3 spot are short Youtube videos.
My question is this.
How difficult is for a niche site to out rank Youtube vids, assuming you have a EMD and do all the proper Seo, backlinking etc?

Not that difficult at all. Youtube videos are pretty easy to outrank if you know what your doing

It should be very easy. With good content, onpage seo and some link building(not spammy links). You should be able to rank it!

If I'm not mistaken, youtube videos are parts of search page temples, they are placed randomly for different niches
