Germany (Kaufland) will allow old currency (marks) to be used from 1-30 January in certain shops for their same value like in 2002. 1.95 Germany Marks = 1 EUR

It seems silly but this will work because there are TONS of marks through out Europe left in some old granny apartments, and i am sure 99% from them are not able to go to Germany in this period to cash it out. I know this for a fact bcs even I know more then 10 people that have marks in their wallets for luck and I have 300 marks in my drawer.
You need a lot of investment for this.
And to travel to germany.

Goal is to target people that have at least 500 marks in their homes and say to themselves heck why not try to get 75$ of it instead of throwing it away.

1. Make simple landing page that looks legit where you buy German marks for 75% less then the money you can get out of Germany. (ex. 15$ per 100's bills)
2. Launch a facebook ad campaign for the landing page targeting people over 25 years old living in Europe. (best bet: Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania)
3. Invest A LOT in marketing it in the next days and gather as much marks you can.

Optimistic outcome:

For every 200$ advertisement, you get 1500$ in buys that equals marks with value of 5000$ in Germany this January.
Then you have 2 options:
Actually going in Germany and using the marks to convert the money in valuable products that can be sold easy.
Finding people living in Germany that will happily give you 5000$ for money that they can get 7000$ of products out of them. (still leaving you in big profits)

This is only for people with big pockets, but I see this as easy opportunity to turn 100k$ in 300k$ if its done with right research and team.
This is just one idea that I felt like sharing because it can be twisted in a lot of ways to make profits out of it this month.

Interesting idea, but as you said this is not for everyone. This also has a positive financial/social function: helping circulate stale currency.

Deutsche Bundesbank still exchanges your old money and will do this forever

hmm I didnt know that will do some research.. but you are basically saying that this is not only a January thing? :D
And for god sake that avatar is making me feel strange.

Too much hustle and I think everyone knows they can do the same at local banks...
