Anyone else getting this error: "Our systems are currently overloaded. Please try again in a few minutes." when trying to verify an account with the "Call me" option?

I'm constantly getting it and after 3 attempts the error changes to "You are requesting too many codes in a short period of time. Please try again later.".

nope didn't got that error, why via call why dont u verify it via sms ?

Because I have a system that completely automates the process through voice recognition.

I still get this error. Maybe it is just a "silent" error indicating that a certain range of PSTN numbers is blocked. But seriously, am I the only one getting it??

I believe that the problem is the proxy.
Try to use an non-used, anonymous one instead VPN ecc!

Let us know!

just more example of facebook being a bunch of dicks as usual.

yeah..i also got that message all the time
and no..it is not proxy or anything, that is just facebook system overload

Ive been getting it too. Same situation, I cant use the text option as I get forwarded numbers. Its gotta have something to do with the voice verification system, because a second later I had them send a text and it went through.

New leads.

I have... I mean, I'm getting that message now. I found this forum after searching for the message on Google.

I was getting it last night as well. Still haven't been able to log into my account (Matt Dickinson, although there are dozens).

I know I can make another. I think I was deactivated either because what I was doing was interpretted as spamming, or hateful or because I said I loved David Duke.

The David Duke comment was facetious, not that I should need to explain. But for some reason it wants me to identify myself further (even though I wasn't lying) by phone number and then it gives me that error message.

Also once I was talking about putting child porn on YouTube and I got a message asking to provide a picture of my driver's license -- which I did, and I was allowed back on, although I think that was on another Facebook account.

Not that you need to have more than one account, even for business purposes perhaps, I just sometimes get a little mixed up or try to take down the account myself, especially since I don't have any friends really. Well actually my one and only girlfriend just died at a hospital 5 days ago. A little torn up about that, if that's the right way to put it.

Now I know why she didn't accept my friend request.

I don't know. I hate technologies this. I hate how you're blacklisted over the littlest of things and then can't communicate with others.

Here are screenshots if anyone cares. I figure you'all are a skeptical crowd anyway:

I put in a couple of others which I felt were related, at least in idea.

*Well, I was going to post, but a message says that I'm not allowed to post links to anything until I've been a member of this place for a little while longer.

same thing happened to me, used different phone number and it worked

I've been trying for a week, I always get that error. I can't use SMS because I have lots of free voice mail but not free text.

Ive tried with a genuine new sim card and even with requesting a voice call. Still cant get it done. Always get the overloaded message too.

Yeah...I'm getting the same thing with a VOIP number AND a my real house number. Has ANYONE been able to get through once they waited for the system to not be overloaded (if there is such a thing)?

I also have problems with receiving a call or sms from Facebook, any bypass method for that? What's wrong going on with Facebook last days?

It's not a new issue - I have NEVER actually succeeded with verifying by phone this way.

I have always used cell phone numbers -- anyone try landlines?
