Ouch.. 20+ EBay Accounts with 0 Selling Limit..

I started selling on EBay a few months ago and I've made some good money. However, my primary account has been banned by EBay so I decided to go stealth.

I made some stealth accounts and in the beginning it was really tough as I kept getting 0 / 0 selling limits but eventually I got 2 or 3 that worked (out of like 20 or thirty).

I put a lot into creating these accounts and I don't want eBay to ban them by linking them to my IP.

My plan is to set them up on a VPS server so I don't get banned because of IP linking.

My question is - can EBay detect I'm using VPS?

Also any recommendations on how to get higher selling limits? I wasted like 2-3 days on making accounts with 0 / 0 selling limit.

EBay can certainly detect if you are using a VPS by looking at ISP (corporate vs. residential). However, there is no guarantee they will hold this against you. Most likely, if you keep under the radar by shipping quickly and uploading tracking information you will not get banned too quickly. Remember, you said you made good profit on EBay so as long as you could make some quick sales you'll be making profit even if you eventually get banned.


However, I do suggest to use a quality IP as suppose to VPS, unless you can find a VPS that wasn't abused and used by the public.


About increasing selling limits.. It's a tough call.


When I started making lots of EBay accounts I faced the same problem as you and it takes months to master the technique.

You must be doing something wrong I have made 5 or 6 recently without issue make sure you log on with a different ip than the banned ones I use a vps from 3 different providers in case one goes down they won't get linked. Make sure none of the info you provide is the same as on previously banned accts. Different name, phone, credit card , bank acct, address, ect, That being said agag2 is right , the easiest way is to buy a quality acct ready to go and they are not that expensive. Also try not to list the same items you sold on previous accts at least not right away . start out listing non vero low risk items til you have built up some feedback

Look for a proxy provider that sells 100% fresh ips never used on ebay.

That will solve your problem.
