    hey All!

First time poster. Been in SEO for a few years, and am running against a brick wall, so I thought I would post to see if you all could help come up with creative ideas.

Recently at the company I work for we've done a huge campaign of on-page and internal link optimization, but to minimal effects. We've built links before, but again didn't see a huge noticeable difference in rankings. Beyond the basic "do more content/change it up" strategies, what are some (creative) ways you guys have gotten stagnant pages to rank well?

My boss if trying to push us to think outside the box, and I'm having a hard time thinking of levers we haven't pulled yet.

    Lever's we've pulled so far:
    traditional link building
content creation and content focused link building
secondary link building (boosting several pages' authority then pushing internal links with keyword-rich anchor text)
    content refreshes of the pages
    meta-data changes

    any other ideas out there?

Have you considered as an option to build PBNs?

I've thought about it, but I work for a public company so that's a harder pitch to make, they're SUPER white-hat. But if you have ideas on how to make it fool proof I'm open to the idea.

I see no difference in what you've stated as "traditional link building" and PBNs. Link building is link building :)

If you've done that already, they are not white hat. Any link building is considered in violation of G terms if we put it that way, so it's black hat, well gray at least LOL. Now, there are some better and worse methods, but link building is link building.

I agree. But it's a hard pitch to sell my manager on investing in creating our own PBN's.
When looking at traditional link building we've done the following:
    link reclamation
    content based link building

That's considered white hat where I work.
