OSX or Web-based Tier 2 Linkbuilding Software?

Most of the discussed tools her like RankerX or FCS only run in a Windows environment.
Are there any tools ppl can recommend to boost e.g. a social fortress with Web2.0 links that can run on a Mac or are entirely web based?

I would recommend you to use a VPS for runing seo tools and I also use a mac but either use vmware or a windows vps for runningseo tools.

Get a VPS most SEO tools are Windows only. Also you need a dedicated internet connection with high speeds.

Any recommendations on Windows VPS providers for little $? I have been mostly operating with linux-based dedicated servers. In a WIndows VPS setting, do I just get a URL to a Windows UI I can log into? I've done the VMWare approach and its just not very efficient or productive in the way it clogs your laptp resoueces.
