We all know original content, like the dodo for example, is key to making the big bucks. But what about sharing content and simply crediting the poster? Is this still a method worth putting time and effort into?

Depends on what your goals are really... do u run a blog or something?

No, I have an Instagram account where I share in the pet niche. I like animals so enjoy doing it, but I can't help but wonder if I'm wasting my time since I'm not taking the photos or editing video.

I must say, as long as it is actually good content and the creator doesn't have a problem with it, it could work very well. In an easy niche, i currently work in (babes), it still works very well.
I guess people don't care, where the babes come from, as long as they are there. ;) Could be the case in your niche as well.

Definitely not, in my opinion.

Unique content can lead to more engagement & growth but I've found that the time taken to make it (and scale it) means it's not worth it, so I just stick to re-posting other content.
