How should we rate the site when we find it with High DA & DR value (above 50) but the traffic on ahrefs is zero? Should we consider this site for guest blogging?

No.

If the links that gave it those high metrics are not able to make it rank for the keywords it targets, what then is the guarantee that they would help your own website rank?

It's a simple logic, I always recommend to folks, whenever you're buying niche edits or guest posts, buy from sites with really good organic traffic. It is an evidence that the site has authority even in the eyes of Google.

This does not apply to PBNs though.

But at times I hear that ahrefs does not give us the accurate traffic. Infact low traffic is shown. Once an owner of the site told me that there is an issue with ahrefs which is likely to be resolved by the end of this month.

How much reality is there in it?

That is why you need to check the position the site is ranking for. Ahrefs estimates traffic of websites based on their position on the SERP as well as the keyword volume.

If a site is not showing any traffic at all, it means it is either not ranking for any keywords at all or it's ranking at very low position, both cases means the domain is not worth acquiring links from.

the owner of the website might have used some service to increase DA/DR. There are one or two services here too that increase DA to 50 in few days.

When you approach sites for guest posts, organic traffic is must to evaluate a site.
Also, only with DA and DR you cannot judge, those metrics can be manipulated easily

Why shouldn't you ask him to give you the Google Analytics data? It has less traffic but gives perfect results. I think it's because of the last Google update. We may have experienced the same thing last month on some guest posting sites. A site with 6-digit traffic suddenly dropped to 4-digit.

It doesn't mean that the site will have traffic if they have high metrics. Metrics are easily manipulated on these days. So, you can consider checking on the backlinks and the keywords of the site.

that maybe the personal blogging network who increase the DA and DR but not focused on organic traffic.

Check that the DA and DR are not manipulated using redirect backlinks. It is easy to check using Ubersuggest or Moz. If you find spammy backlinks then skip that domain.

If you do not find spammy backlinks and the domain is having zero traffic then the domain is not complete waste. Backlink from this domain can add up to your backlink profile and provide link diversity. I am not saying that this domain will give you a huge boost in ranking, but it is NOT a complete waste because it is not spammed.

So negotiate with the owner and try to bring down the cost to some reasonable amount.

Do not discard the domain just because it has no traffic.

Well I agree to your point that we should not completely discard them.

No, you can't consider this site for guest blogging. If it shows zero traffic.

Just buy a site with high organic traffic, or You should check with other sources like SEMrush.

Yes if you do Guest post on these kind of website you ll get 0 traffic welcome to Noob area :)

Look at your Q. buddy

That means parked domains not get any traffic? Now I checked four registered com domains with the free ahrefs tool, domains form godaddyfokkers, all four showing zero traffic data in ahrefs.

But one moment, when you try to buy a com domain and it's taken too with prefixes like the, that, go, then you buy a different domain extension like org, net, site, blog whatsoever.

Then google will route the traffic from your domain like theseo.org to the parked registered theseo.com domain or
not ?

Here a study from ahres will shock you; 96.55% of all websites getting zero traffic here: https://ahrefs.com/blog/search-traffic-study/

How can that be with 14 billions websites in google ? That's insane.

A big no bcz all these metrics are manipulated
Please be more specific which metrics are manipulated, from tools like semruh, ahrefs etc,etc....?
Check the godaddyfokkers auction most domains have no offers and reply - it's an empty place a ghost place...
