organic traffic from FB group

I am quite new to FB, could someone please explain me is it still possible to get organic growth on a facebook group?
As I understand the majority of organic traffic on a FB group comes from FB group search, so that the group's name should be optimized for that. Is it true?

Absolutely. Just need to find a quality niche that people search for and it can even get recommended to users by Facebook. It's good to have a page to go along with the group, that way it will grow faster.

Yes social media traffic is such a thing, i don't know why someone would think otherwise.

To answer your question - yes if you offer relevant and useful content - you can get organic traffic from FB.
I am not sure if you asked this question as a Group owner or as a user posting in groups.
If the latter is true you need to ensure that you join Groups with good number of Members and daily engagement.

There are lots of memes that float through Facebook, Twitter, Quora, and others.

What I’ve noticed is some Facebook groups (obviously populated by fake accounts that publish the bulk of the content) simply get the highest trending memes from other platforms and just republish them on Facebook.

Since these pieces of content are tried and proven in their viral appeal, it’s no surprise that people can’t help but share them.

That’s how these groups got big.

But, here’s a piece of advice: I noticed that they tend to be narrow in focus.

They don’t just publish any meme that’s funny or memes that tend to get a lot of likes or retweets.

They focus on niche-specific memes.

So, if you want to turn your Facebook group traffic into cash, you have to have that niche specificity.

Otherwise, whatever offers you send out through your group might not get much traction.

Also, another piece of advice that I could give you—based on what I’ve seen that works—is use your group not to sell.

I know that’s unpopular because a lot of people here would like quick and easy money.

I get that.

But, if you want a sustainable business model, share content that people like and then tell them, “If you want more, sign up for my mailing list.”

Maybe you can give them some sort of freebie.

But, get them on a niche-specific list and then start sending high-quality updates to your list to build trust.

Before soon, you have a big, fat list of people who really like what you send and enough member trust.

You can then leverage that trust into dollars later on.
