I’ve been using X more actively over the past few months and noticed some changes in how posts perform.

- Engagement seems very inconsistent even with similar content
- Some low-effort posts outperform more detailed ones
- Timing feels more important than before

Just wondering:
- Are you sticking to a fixed posting schedule?
- Or posting more randomly based on trends and current activity?

Would be interesting to hear what’s actually working right now for organic reach.

Same feelings here
I have less high performing posts, in average my post engagement is lower then before
I think timing ist essential as before, but the timed shiftet 1-2 hours (my feeling)

i think its going more to tiktok/instagram/youtube algortightms, where engagement and grow is possible only from short videos. Twitter maybe goes in this way too, slowly, but goes

X did change how replies and engagement are weighted. Some replies get capped or shown to a fixed-size audience now.
i think they got fed up with the massive amount of bots mass replying / posting for that blue tick revenue

Fixed schedules matter less right now. X favors real time activity, so posting when your audience is active or when topics are trending works better than rigid timing. Low effort posts often win because they trigger fast replies and engagement. Speed and interaction beat polish for organic reach at the moment.
