Hey BHW you would of maybe seen that a couple of days ago i posted a thread asking about growing an IG account.

I have finally got around to starting and decided i would go organic for the time being testing what works and what doesnt, in my first day i made about 10 HQ post and put the basic info and some tags then went on some bigger pages and followed some of their followers and ended up with 70 followers (don't really know if this was any good but i thought i did alright for my first try)

I have alot of random people liking and following that i dont follow or even like any of their posts
so my question is: Should i be following back people who follow me and maybe liking a post or should i just leave them and just hope they stay around because of the content?

cheers in advance.

I think you should just continue doing your thing, who ever whats to stay around will.

You are doing well ,however don't post more than 7 pics a day ,also no need to follow back the people who followed you or liked your posts and next time when you follow followers of the large pages try to like their latest posts for a better chance to get them following you .

And for your information this is not an organic growth it's follow/unfollow method ,once you start gaining +300 followers daily you can stop the F/U method and try to improve your posts quality and optimize the hashtags.

Cheers guys, at this point of time im sitting at 130 (still gaining but slowly)
I havnt been limiting my posts, i have been posting a picture every 45 minutes to an hour and i think the engagement is not too bad, what are some advantages of limiting posts?

hashtags at the moment are alright i have been testing a few different variations (i have a list of hashtags and choose the most fitting to the picture)
seems that this is where most people are coming from, for the time being i will grow the list (not too big otherwise it would be a hassle) and slowly just mess around with what works and what doesnt.
