.org VS .com VS .net for EMD

I have found that key-word.net & key-word.org are both available. This keyword gets well over 500k searches a month but i am wondering if i should find a PMD that is .com or get the .net or .org domain?

Yup, .com has better branding ability, and everyone remembers .com , and not the others. But it also depends on what you are trying to achieve - If you are targeting local seo, then local tld would be better instead, as it would be given priority in local ranking, which would be a big boost for local seo.

With 500k searches a month I doubt it is for local seo.

You can use any one of them thats not going to effect on your site rankings but my suggestion is go with .com because it is more familiar than other two.

I don't like EMDs to be honest.

PMD can be considered a "brand".

Will make your link-building easier.

If the keyword is typed in one word it doesn't make sense to use a separator like the dash
Avoid dashes when possible, if there are two words it's fine to use them
EMD will have a micro impact in your overall ranking. Noth worth spending much time on this.
