Right, precious gems are a scam that no one wants - I should go with those yellow diamonds right? lol I'm pretty sure Tiffany's is selling real De Beers diamonds I'm save!

Diamonds generally aren't an investment. That is a myth. Just like any consumer product, marketing and hype play a role...diamonds are no different. IMO lab created diamonds will never become mainstream. The diamond industry is still to powerful.

OP- Congrats! The Novo is a fine ring indeed!

Reinie- Yellow diamonds can actually be very valuable if they are a "fancy yellow" certified by a reputable gem lab.
