Starting from 2024, AI became more crucial in search results, especially in Google. SGE at start, and more updates are evolving every day.

Optimizing solely for Google isn’t sufficient anymore; it's essential to align with its AI-driven algorithms and present content to secure better rankings and user engagement.

To adapt this thing, what are the changes you guys have made in your website, or are looking forward to making, to sustain this hard AI era?

So with google’s AI updates like SGE, we can focus on creating content that feels natural and answers user questions directly while and it should still be detailed. We can also add more visuals and interactive elements to keep people engaged and make the content stand out. It’s all about staying user-focused and adapting to how AI is shaping search.

A recent study I saw had data showing that 97% of URLs linked in AI overviews and 'AI Mode' also appear in the 10 top organic results: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/sato...wing-where-activity-7338103003226263558-WRrk/
Not direct correlation for sure, but it definitely suggests that AI overviews, AI Mode and organic results share similar ranking factors.

With AI shaping search in 2024, adapting content for Google’s AI algorithms and enhancing user engagement is now essential for sustained rankings.

We are now concentrating on intent and structure rather than just keywords. Clear titles, natural language, and constant thematic depth are now crucial for feeding the AI. To keep ahead, we're also experimenting with internal linking, entities, and bespoke GPT-trained material. The AI era is just smarter; it isn't difficult. Change or disappear.

Post-SGE, just ranking for keywords isn’t enough anymore. In 2025, what really matters is being selected by Google’s AI layers for those direct SGE answers. That means optimized formatting, short Q&A blocks, structured snippets, and clear, factual presentation.
On the GEO side, local relevance has leveled up. We’re seeing better results when sessions originate from the target area, especially via mobile IPs with consistent local behavior. Google seems to weigh geo-matching signals more when deciding who gets visibility in AI-packed SERPs.

Yes, probably search engines give a small weightage to those things. Maybe it will get higher in the coming days.

Just an article worked earlier, but now Google is looking for more precise things, like you mentioned. Without structured formatting, high-value infographics, and snippets, we could be landing in a desert.

Exactly it's a whole new ballgame now. We've shifted from pure “keyword stuffing” to focusing on semantic depth and utility. Our site’s content is now designed to directly answer search intent, not just match keywords. We're adding more multimedia, expert perspectives, and unique data to stay a step ahead of the algorithm’s growing smarts. Adapt or get left behind!

I’ve been focusing on building topical authority and improving internal linking to help Google’s AI better understand my site.
Additionally, combining AI-generated content with manual edits to maintain originality and human friendliness.
Next, I’m testing schema tweaks and optimising for SGE-style queries.

You should do this for SGE & GEO SEO in 2025 –

#For SGE (AI Search)
  • Write like people talk.
  • Answer real questions clearly.
  • Use schema (structured data).
  • Show expertise and trust.
#For GEO (Local SEO)
  • Keep Google Business Profile updated.
  • Get good reviews.
  • Create local-focused content.
  • Use local keywords + location schema.
Note: Fast site, mobile-friendly, Clear structure (Q&A, bullets) & Fix crawl issues. I think that's enough for you!

Right, semantic is in live for long, but it's getting serious with these AI algorithms now. Without the right strategy for content and website, claiming top positions would become a daydream.

Great, building topical authority could drive better results. How were your results for the AI-generated content with manual edits?

I am slowly shifting my focus too - making content more natural and question-based, plus using schema and better internal links. Nowadays it's not about keywords anymore - it's about being helpful to the reader.

AI's getting bigger, which means we have to come up with new SEO strategies. To keep our content great, we get help from talented freelance writers. We’re all about following google's latest recommendations and making our site faster and better. Search engines are good for getting traffic, but we're also working hard to get visitors to come back regularly by building our email list.

Technical SEO is also a major thing these days; without the right optimization, we can't get better output. I appreciate your idea of building an email list; it's necessary for any type of site.
