as a seller yourself you have a small picture how many 0 poster orders you got already... i assume buyer traffic from se's is unlikely, internal search is more relevant, for what you can add a text paragraph in the footer. if i see lime green text bst's i always feel back in the 90's hacker forums and is not much appealing, but thats a personal opinion. but true is: the time where the very first super styled services sold itself by nothing but the graphic is over... it is more a common standard now and indeed very arty. beside of cro i often thought about honouring these design gems with a gallery site...

What just came intomy mind, when I saw this thread: a great way to bind here new acquised customers: Offer the first month free! You will bind the customers forever, if the links work as advertized. The thread offers month to month paied sitewide links. give them the first month free, let them see their rankings climb, noone ever would want to loose this links and thereby the new achieved rankings.

Well, the problem with sitewide links is that they can be a pain to those who don't know how to use them. For sites that I have analyzed, around 70% of the sites do not have strong enough backlink profiles to handle the amount of links having no anchor text or a single anchor text. And most of the time, Google scans the whole domain on a single day which results in getting a few high PR or with PR links PLUS a lot of low quality PRN/A - 0 links from low quality posts. SEO-wise, that could easily mean a penalty if the webmaster isn't knowledgeable when and when not to use this kind of link.

With that aside, I believe the main problem why his BST didn't get populated fast is the fact that people easily get turned off with monthly links that get removed once you stop paying especially if it is coming from a single domain.
