Optimization / Ebay ratings.

So , guys I am having this questions about optimization ebay.




First of all, I am a new seller. Only 1 month old, lol




1. When doing volumes to increase your trust on ebay, does it really care the volume? or it's more important to overall $? For example google pay more attention to an PR9 backlink then 50 PR0 backlinks. I hope you get my point. I am asking you this, because if this is the case i could buy from hyper market an laptop that have an 10-30% discount and sell it even for less on ebay just to get rating.




2. How fast I will see results? It's like Google, every backlink count... or I will have to wait to be a full powerseller and then the magic will happen? I mean every sale count, or I need the statue of top seller - bronze,etc... ? If i got 10 sales already I will get more views then a guy who have 5 sales?

1. Usually it's a mix between the two. Try to vary your stock between low to mid priced options. Also feedback is very important. If you sell those items well, and get feedback (positive of course) then eBay will notice it and raise your limits. it's all about scaling up slowly. If you sell well, your results won't be far off from the first page.

2. Being a powerseller certainly helps for getting your products to the first page. However, I was selling with a 10 feedback account with no sales, and my products were hitting the first page. It all depends on the niche you are on. More competition will mean that it depends on your rep on eBay. less competition and you'll have a better chance of making it to the first page.

It's kind of interesting... I started selling 2 months ago. It took 3 weeks for my first item to be bought, then another week for the second. And right now I am making like 10 sales/day... and I have NO FEEDBACK ?!

Is it a problem if I made like 50 sales, but nobody will leave me any feedback ? I also didn't asked...
