Optimistic Introduction - Hello BHW!

Hello everyone,

I've found this forum while searching online for ways I can better myself financially, and from the start it proved useful which convinced me to make an account.
I've been interested in, and studied computer science since a young age, and in my early 20s now I've got my computer science degree.
Recently, the world of programming has changed so much. Put in enough effort and you'll be almost guaranteed with a good life. Now you put in 10x the effort for a job that pays less.
This has made me rethink what I want from life. How can I utilise my skills without following the textbook "study, get a job in CS and work your way up" approach.
That's why I'm here. Thank you for all the useful information I've gotten out of this place already, and for much more that I will learn.
I'm sure many people similar to me are also in this same position, and I'm hopeful action like this will lead us where we want to be.

welcome m0neym0ves. the CS degree is a real plus here, lot of ppl pay monthly for tools u could just code urself in a weekend. what side r u leaning to first, building ur own tools or more the affiliate money side?
