Optimise VPS for Speed

Hi BHW fam,

I am new to this and recently purchased a VPS, I see that even tho it is much larger then the web hosting I was using prior to the VPS, The website/whm/cpanel are all more slower.

What could be some of the reasons causing this? Have I not setup the VPS correctly? I see the CPU is at like 80% The VPS has 3CPUS but is it possible to activate them all or something? Sorry if thats a dumb question but Im new haha.

It is possible that your site consumes more resources, so you may need to increase your VPS resources
The matter may sometimes depend on the control panel that you use to manage the VPS, as it may consume some server resources.

OP, you need to find what is the bottle neck on your VPS.

odd question but why not htop its more user friendly and detailed and its installed by default in many distros
