The product I'm promoting has a video homepage with a buy button directly underneath that leads to the order page.
Since I'm trying to build a list, I made my own opt-in landing page with the product's video next to the opt-in form. Submitting the opt-in form lets them proceed to the order page. I'm not entirely sure how optimal this is because the only reason someone would enter their information is if they want to proceed to the order page (though I suppose this would be a higher quality list?). Would it be better instead to have some sort of text content on my landing page and have people opt-in to see the video on the product's official page?
