I'm finally tapping into instagram platform and would like couple opinions about my strategies.

I'm going to go shortly step by step what I do.

1. Pick a niche. I go to instagram shoutout websites. I take a look on the prices/follower ratio.
I pick the niches which I like. Then I take a look on what kind of monetization options I would have.
If I find a good aff program with a nice website I'll go for that. Or just sell shoutouts.

2. Creating accounts. I need good user names. I can't stand names like artpics3, art..pics or art_around_theworld.

I create my accounts by throwing all the keywords I can into notepad. Then I search other accounts for those ones.
I pick more keywords from them. Then I use synonyms with thesaurus.com. Throw some keywords like:

Beautiful
Fantastic
Awesome

I got these results:

astonishing
beautifull
breathtaking
magnificent
wonderful
unbelievable
unimaginable
incredible
unreal
fascinating
extraordinary

Account name is quite a personal opinion. But I like to choose something which has an adjective in it.

Adjective + "Niche word" + "Niche target word"

Example for art pics:

Unrealartpics.

I search for the accounts and contact the ones that aren't very active.

3. Get some pictures. I scrape pictures from pinterest and tumblr. Hand pick the popular ones. Save the caption as
I'm not the most entertaining caption writer. Some are naturals. Or I use 4k stogram to scrape popular IG accounts.
Saving the captions as well.

4. Accounts to follow. I choose niche relevant accounts. I'm using follow liker. It has couple cool features. I follow the people who like/comment on the account. I then choose the advanced option. If I want to target men I follow users who have 60-200 followers and are following 100-300 users and for women I use 200-350 followers and are following 100-200. Usually nobody has this problem as the niches are usually easily categorized for man or women.

I believe these kind of setting would reduce the amount of bots followed.

I'm not confident about this one so I'm putting it here as a question mark. I found shoutcart.com which sells shoutouts.
They have this sort by option which I found interesting. The accounts can be sorted by score. Which by them tells the authenticity of the likes and followers. Which would mean that those accounts are very good to follow due high engagement levels. I'm wondering if the accounts in top of the list manipulate this score with 5-20$ in order to stay in the top. As I don't know how well their score tool is working.

Tho I will put couple accounts and see the differences between high score and a hand picked account.

Side question which I haven't found the correct way yet.

Putting affiliate links. Most of them are the actual website url or shortened url.

How would you direct people into perfectartworld.com with your affiliate link? Read some cloaking threads and wasn't convinced enough.

Was thinking to put up a simple website with top 10 affiliate links with reviews.

Thanks.

This is my current game plan and I would appreciate all replies as I like to improve my game and get feedback.

Finally, someone that does some research before starting!

You already comprehend more than most of the people in this forum section.

Concerning the URL, the easiest way is to use a domain and a 302 redirect to your affiliate link.

Thanks mate.

I already thought about the domain redirect. Thinking what's the smart and trustworthy way to do it.

Redirecting would require me to put a different domain then what's actually on my bio.

But I suppose if you have a domain "allkindofart.com" --> "perfectartworld.com" it wouldn't be that bad.

As long as you go for ".com" domains you're fine, that's what people trust the most, but I've seen people do all kinds of redirects, even by using Google shortener as the first step on their profile bio.

It's not something you have to waste too much time with, as long as the redirect is safe, everything is fine.

Score is basically the engagement % of the account. Here's the formula to calculate it:

Engagement % = [(Average likes on the last 10 pics) / (Total no. of followers)] x 100

I appreciate that. What I'm worried is that do the top accounts in the score buy likes to increase the score to enhance the sales.
Or if the website can see beyond that with the score tool.
