Why does everyone recommend Chrome? I don't understand!!! Like Firefox actually seems to care a bit more about your privacy than Chrome and also:

Do I need to say more?

Brave & Chrome. Essentially the same (Chromium OS), distinct in that Brave is inherently privacy oriented whereas Chrome requires plugins to match Brave.
Safari is 2nd.

Firefox :) I don't use chromium-based browsers. Also heard opera is pretty good.
Opera is actually a solid choice and very underrated. It has many good features like tracker and ad block build in Vpn which is surprisingly good etc. The only problem i have with opera is that i don't like the ui it has and that it feels a bit laggy-slow compared to FFox and chrome.

Been using Comodo Dragon for years now. It is a chromium based browser.

FireFox ESR (No-Install version)

It's the most secure & stable version that's been used for universities. Then, add a couple of add-ons:
- NoSript
- CanvasBlocker
- Privacy Settings
- uBlock Origin
- https Everywhere

If you value your privacy, do NOT use Chrome.
Chrome greedily collects anything about your browsing habits.

I always wonder; If a group of guys, equipped with clipboards would follow you around, frantically taking notes about what you do, where you go.... you'd want to beat the shit out of them. But if you use a browser spying on, collecting data like private investigators, about what porn you watch, which places your frequent, people don't complain.

Well I do use Nightly as my main browser as crazy as it sounds to help development, on second I just use stable firefox, on third I use chrome as I need to ensure my designs works in every browser.

I do feel chrome might be better for google things but I am here to keep diversity and ensure users have a place to run when they realize how evil google is.

Nevertheless my avatar should say enough about how much I love firefox :v

What I am surprised is to hear how many people use Brave, I will try it

Brave, Vivaldi and Chrome are built on top of Chromium. Microsoft is rewriting Edge and it will be using Chromium as well.
So, I think all of them are relying on Blink (Browser Engine).

Illusion of choice? :)

Safari (WebKit) and Firefox (Gecko) are offering alternatives. At least, for now.

I use Chrome as my daily browser, Firefox for multimedia and a backup browser with different accounts, and Comodo for a clean fingerprint randomly.

Chrome and FireFox. Use the Developer tools of these 2 browsers to check.

For now, am still with chrome. Yes I have tor on my desktop but haven't use it since.
