I've been using Chrome until 2 days ago. Reformatted my desktop, opened up Edge to download Chrome and immediately, the first thing that I noticed was how smooth it was scrolling through sites. It was really choppy on Chrome for some reason. Even with smooth scroll enabled. I'm gonna stick with Edge for a bit and see how it goes. It's actually pretty darn fast.

Presently I'm using chrome, I don't feel any difficulties for that browser. Working pretty faster & easy to use.

I read somewhere that we can't trust Google. Even though I do whitehat/grey hat things, I still don't want to be on these forums on Chrome as I don't trust Google as they know everything. FF is what I use.

Are you comparing both on the new OS install? Or are you comparing your experience with Chrome before the new install (with cache, cookies and addons full to the brim) and Edge after the new install?

i think for just browsing FFox is better and more comfortable. maybe you have too much RAM on your pc/laptop but anyway just save your RAM.

Which browser can you guys recommend for youtube considering proxy and extensions like Vidiq

Both on the newly installed OS. I installed chrome as well after seeing how smooth edge was, just to compare. I personally feel like it was much smoother for me on edge. For example, I was looking through themeforest for Wordpress themes and loaded a couple of demo pages - with sliders...parallax..etc. The transitioning and effects of the themes were WAY smoother on edge than it was on chrome for me. Both only had the Adblock plugin and nothing else. Smooth scroll enabled on chrome.

I haven’t faced any bugs or crashes so far. But will keep a lookout for it.

For day to day usage, I've been using Chrome for the longest time but I've switched over to Microsoft EDGE.
Compared to Chrome, EDGE is so much faster (less resource intensive).
Only annoyance is the fact that pretty much every website out there is optimized for Chrome so there are compatibility issues with certain somewhat obscure sites with EDGE.

Chrome + Safari

Yes I am using Chrome as well, however recent developments have me doubting the security and "privacy" "quality" of said browser.
There have been some good points made for others but as stated earlier, the Internet seems to be "designed" for Chrome, no?

Cheers =)

I download vivaldi just to see how it is and i love it so much , you can select witch search engine you want to search in easilly and it is very fast too

Internet explorer - under-developed
Opera - too many bugs
Edge - bug city + weird
Firefox - too slow
Chrome - the nuts

Chrome users..recently migrated to brave for BAT and privacy

Is brave really good? I'm gonna check it out right now. As mentioned in this thread previously, I switched from Chrome to Edge and noticed a significant increase in loading speeds. However, some sites, especially sites that I very frequently visit, seem to be a little buggy. Youtube and Facebook are some examples.
