Opinion on WP Robot for News Spinning?

Hi Guys,

I wanted your opinion on WP Robot simply, I run a entertainment news website, we do alright but recently I just dont have time to keep posting new news items which is usually a rewrite of a news article or a press release posted directly. In the past we have had emails from companies offering to supply news articles, these are news organisations IANS etc and looking around they post to a number of different news outlets who all have the same content while some spin the title or text slightly.

I am thinking its best to use a few rss feeds and use wp robot to post the content using pull full article function. What do you think about this? Will google downgrade me? is there anything better to use it for?

Duplicate content is NOT your friend ! When we are talking about the SEO part. If your traffic is not from SE then you are fine to go

If most of your traffic is organic then don't.
If it's social traffic then go for it!

Thanks, the traffic is a mix of social and organic, i would say more organic and as of the last few months I have not promoted on social.

I guess i need to find another way to make work easy

If you rely on AdSense on your earnings, then don't couse you'll probably get banned for copyright infregment, if not then go for it

As a newbie trying to venture out into this, you're insights are highly appreciated! No to copying content noted! But is spinning considered copying?

I'm curious how does WPRobot do today. It was a great tool a few years back. Curious to hear it's still alive. Are you really using it? Mind to share some experience?

You definitely risk getting sued doing this if you don't comply with take down request because it's all automated. Eventually one of those sites will take legal action. You might get away with it, but it's definitely not 100% safe. If you're lucky by the time you get caught you have money to hire writers to re-write the stuff for you.
