For me it just ends up taking more time thinking and still does same thing has 4o....Nothing smarter as they are preaching.

For me its quite a bit better in serious coding problems with a bigger background structure that the model needs to understand to make the right decision, i guess it depends a lot on what your using it for. o1 only works for hard questions with solid answers(numbers/logic), atleast for me…

I hope they enable vision too. It's hard to describe things with just words.

It is definitely more capable and has a huge context window, which makes it capable of generating large code.
