Opinion On My SEO Method

Hi, so I'm 17 years old and I plan on majoring in some type of business field when I go to college. I am not completely sure what I want to specifically major in though so thus, as a result, I decided I will dabble in Internet Marketing in order to "test the waters" to see whether or not it's for me. Clearly, I am a complete newb but I have been lurking around this forum and WF (alongside various other websites) for roughly maybe close to a month to a month and a half to learn as much as I can. Apparently, it seems that due to Google algorithms, I must maintain a wide diversity of back-links in order to avoid being penalized. I already hired a website designer to create my niche/blog for me (it will have 9 articles, each with a long tail keyword) and it will be ready around 8/27/2012. In the meantime, I am looking to see what is the best way to optimize my off-page SEO. After lurking around the Services thread for quite awhile and digging around for the most affordable services, these are the services I decided I want to use. I will list in which services I want to use over the course of two months. Since I can not link the URL directly, I will just simply give a small description of what I will purchase and the name of the service or the guy who runs it.
Month One:
Social Bookmarking (Right Back-links): I will take the 45$ special package which gives me 2500 PR 1-8 bookmarks and split it up amongst all my pages. I think I would most likely have somewhere between 250-400 bookmarks per page. I am not sure as to how many bookmarks would be considered "excessive", please advise.

Directory Submissions (seomerelin): I have been suggested to take the slow-drip method of 5500 submissions over the course of 30 days. This will cost me 25$.

Diversity (Search Engine Rockstar): I will be using package two which gives me:

*200 High PR Blog Comments (PR 1-4)

*3 Articles spun and submitted to 3,000 Article directories with a minimum of *400* livelinks!

*50 Web 2.0 Properties

*35 Web 2.0 Profiles

*50 Social Bookmarks

*300 Forum Profile Links

This is to mostly round-out my back-links. This will cost me 34$.

General Back-links (Puppy Box): So far, it seems like the OP is gone but if he comes back, I am contemplating to purchase this. It seems like a generally good deal but I am not so sure if it would be a good idea since 10,000 back-links seem excessive for a brand new site. Cost is 5$.

Total Cost: 109$

This will only be necessary if I do not achieve first page within the first month. I don't expect it to be too hard though since it's relatively low competition.

Month Two:
Wiki Back-links (Links Tonic) : I will take package 4 for 17$ which gives me 8,000 back-links and 70,000 comments which costs an addition 25$. Total cost is 42$.

Yahoo Back-links (secondeye): I will take the buy 2 and get 1 free deal for 40$. It will be a total of 900 Yahoo back-links.

.Edu Back-links (sweetguyzzz): I will use the 28$ special bundle. I get 25 EDU and GOV profiles along with 75 back-links.

Competitor's Back-links (35dollarseo): I found this one to be unusually interesting. I have not seen another service like this yet. I am considering to get this since it can't really hurt to use your competitor's back-links too right? Cost is 35$.

Total Cost: 135$

Overall, it will cost me close to 250$ just to increase my rankings. Including my website production costs, it will have cost me a total of close to 400$. However, I find it a small risk anyway because of the potential niches can bring in. Even if I don't make considerable amounts of money, I at least have a extra-curricular I can use for my college transcript. Please leave your feedback as to whether or not you guys would think this combination of services would be effective for me or not. I will edit this if I see that I wish to change services or add one. I may also decide to do a combination of these services in a different order. Thanks in advance for your input :D

Firstly, congrats for actually thinking about things strategically and making a proper plan for your link building campaign.

Personally, I feel that is going over-board for link building to a brand new site. Say for example you got all the live links that were promised from the packages purchased in month 1, this would be over 9000 backlinks. I would say that is too many for a new site.

Although I mainly buy aged domains now, if I do create a new site I focus first on content, on-page SEO and appearance. If these aren't right, the link building process won't be as effective. I'll then do a little social book marking to get it indexed and leave it alone for a few weeks to let Google do it's thing and see where it settles in the rankings. Then after a month I'll get to work on building links.

Remember that Google doesn't encourage link building and wants it all to happen naturally. Is it natural that a new website gets 9000+ links in one month? Probably not.

That's my opinion and I'm sure others will disagree but it works for me and I've never had a site sandboxed or penalised in any way.

Thanks a lot!!:D I took a lot of time and effort to plan it out. Anyway, 9,000 back-links is about 300 a day for 30 days. I think a good number of people here do that much so I'm not really too worried about it. Without a doubt though, I will be doing the directory submissions and the diverse back-links. Those two seem to be the most important part to me. However, I might scale down the social bookmarking to about maybe 100-150 per page.

Edit: I've employed Verena from WF to do my website by the way (you might have heard of her). I've seen samples of her work and a lot of people seem to like what she's done, so I'm not really too worried about on-page appearance or article quality. However, I am considering to buy maybe 10-15 articles of about 300-500 words each and upload one a week as to create new content and establish myself as an authority site.

You can spread bookmarks/blog comments across your networks and they will pump pagerank into your moneysite. It is actually quite simple, but a little tedious to setup. The advantage you can take from this is that as Google makes it more and mroe difficult for us to do SEO, the more specialised our job becomes and the value increases.

It is all about the blog networks and anchor text right now.

Do you have any specific examples of this? I'm a little confused :/ Why can't I just purchase web 2.0 services?

Sorry i'm not explaining myself well enough.

My point is that in my opinion, POST Penguin/Panda update the best way to rank a website is to create separate properties which you treat very well. So every week you may launch several new web 2.0s and buy new domains to host wordpress blogs. You gradually create a network of quality sites/web2.0s which you use to link to your site and you can update each week with content from a provider like iwriter.com

People call them different things, pumper sites, buffer sites but I think PR Network is the best way to describe them. Then you can sprinkle your bookmarks, forum profiles and blog comments between them all like a blanket.

Possibly the most effective link building method right now is to buy links on private blog networks and other sites. You will see an almost immediate increase in rankings when you get a link in a blog post on a relevant site with PR3+.

So it is a good idea to begin buying domains, hosting them on separate $1 hosting packages and begin building your own network. Fill each blog with 10 fairly good quality blog posts. place a video form youtube in each post, an image, a link to an authority website and a link to one of your money sites.

You can do this with web 2.0s too, but it can be annoying as they can get deleted often when you login to different accounts on same IP(i cant be bothered switching proxies).

About buying web 2.0s, i also buy them, but it is better to simply buy a VPS, proxies, captchas and good spinner and a program like ultimate demon. Then learn to scrape a good list for directories,bookmarks,forum profiles, web 2.0s, wikis and article sites. Now you have all the tools to blost links to all of your properties.

Long term, it is more cost effective than buying packages all the time and you are in full control.

This sounds far too costly and time consuming for me :/ Actually, that doesn't even matter that much, but the thing is, I don't think your method is very beginner friendly...this is my first campaign that I will be launching :P
 
I like the idea. My suggestion would be to invest some money in content writers. Just do not use fivver grabadge

I will be outsourcing from quality writers only. I think it's common knowledge that "Content is King". If my content is garbage, nobody is going to spend more than 5secs on my site lol. I would rather pay at a premium price for a quality article than for garbage a monkey wrote for a fraction of a penny :P
 
By the way, i'd ditch the article to 3,000 directories. A lot of people found their sites divebombed after submitting articles to lots of directories. Better to pick like 50 which you can regularly post to and then for the remaining article sites you can drip feed an article to a few of them every day tog et some more referring domains in your backlink profile.

Lastly, if you insist on spending your money on services then I can honestly say you will have more success buying a 5 links on a high PR Network then getting thousands of links from the automated SEO tools used by service providers.

Your strategy seems great so far. Nevertheless, keep in mind that blasting blog comments directly to your website it's a bad idea, I'd recommend you to use Puppybox's services to boost your lower tier backlinks instead, you don't want low quality backlinks pointing straight at your $ site.

I just PM'd you a strategy I go by and it is working like a charm. I have been using this for the last four months with 16 websites and all of them are doing great!

However, it's 99$ and it's mostly high authority links.

So thus according to what gorang says, it would be better to direct my purchased back-links to the high PR websites which in turn link to my money site?
 
The really good links from high PR blogs that you buy should go straight to your moneysite. What i'm trying to say is that it is better to only have high quality links pointing to your site from networks which you created yourself and bought from instead of mass spamming.

The spam links go to your networks.

Yes, that's what I meant. My high PR links will point to my moneysite, and then the lower quality back-links go to my high PR links correct?
 
Oh, which also reminds me, if I only have high PR links pointing to my website, don't I get penalized for over-optimization?
