Opinion about ranking an commerce

I'm talking about an ecommerce opened 2 months ago into an existing site (on a subfolder /shop/).

The site is trusted with good quality backlinks, good trust flow and citation flow compared to some other shops that are ranking on top10 for some category terms.

So where is the problem? It's necessary to wait?

I see that some competitors have more products in various categories. It could be a determining factor?

The site is fast with SSL connection, good rankings on main website..

Any suggestion?

I'd like to read some article about it or a different point of view about that.

Probably not enough links. Also 2 months is pretty recent. More time and quality linking.
