Opera sucks ass!

My main issue was with Firefox not being able to sort bookmarks properly, I've got a large amount and was trying to cut and paste searched bookmarks but unfortunately it just duplicates them. So basically when you try cutting searched bookmarks, it will only copy them and still leave them in the original place. /fail

I've never really used Opera properly and I always wanted to so I thought this was the time to give it a chance, to my surprise not only can you not import bookmarks, they have no freaking bookmark manager! Where do they get their developers from? /fail

Looks like I'll be sticking to Firefox for a long time to come, Opera sucks, Chrome is Google's spy tool. Meh...

I don't know if I was dreaming or not, but Opera looks like to be a Google Chrome clone, with just a change in codes.

Once I was browsing through the settings and came across some Google Chrome page.

You can try safari, don't know if it will work for what you need.

you need to get your bookmarks in Speed dial - it is little different as in FF, when you go to View in opera you can open a Bookmark bar! add folder (name it) go to the site you want to BM- URL is already there you just save it) yeah it takes a bit to get used to especially when somebody use FF 14 years already lol

Yeah it reminds me of Chrome which sucks, if I want Chrome I will get Chrome.

And Safari is one Apple to many for me.

Speed Dial sucks. Opera does have the bookmark Toolbar but it's useless without a bookmark manager.

I've heard of it but never really looked into it, I don't really like storing anything online. Gives these companies too much data.

Try Comodo Dragon or SPWare Iron (I prefer Comodo). Both apps are based on Chrome(Chromium ...), and have removed every connection to Google.

+1 for Comodo Dragon as Chrome alternative. Using it right now.

Comodo also offers an alternative browser for Firefox called IceDragon. Also very nice.

The bookmarks issue is the only reason why I am still running an older version. I love Opera though, been using it for a long time now.

Nope.

Firefox comes from Netscape Navigator - the first *real* browser(there were others before it but they sucked). Chrome is just one more Google spy tool that tracks every move and every keystroke you type and it arrived almost 120 web years after Netscape.

I love opera. It's had cloud sync for longer than I can remember, so you get the same experience anywhere.

speed dial does me fine, can't remember the last time I used a bookmark

anyway I use Chrome but am looking for a different browser. It is starting to go slow for me. Maybe my pc?

I use xMarks. It will foul hook bookmarks on other PC browsers and put them where it wants... LastPass owns it.
