Opening Tumblr Accounts for Bot Use ...

I plan to open them manually, 1 per day, with 1 private IP (proxy) per account.

Is it recommended that I insert the proxy into my browser to open it up or can I open it up (and/or all of them) with my main IP (from my isp) and then use the proxy for bot use afterwards?

Any insights are appreciated.

Using proxies while creating Will help, If you dont mind tumblr banning/deleting your tumblr accounts then go ahead with your main IP. But Proxies will keep you at safer side.
 
Yeah that's manual for you. It'll work but depending what tumblr bot you have why won't you just make the accounts with the bot. It's going to be time consuming to make the accounts manually

I plan to start out slow and open 10 accounts so doing them manually won't take up too much time.

I also had the thought that doing them manually may make it less likely for tumblr to close it down at some point.

What will that do exactly as far as tumblr is concerned? (Re: vpn)
 
There won't be any problem if you do this manually and that will remain active untill you use them properly.
 
If it's for bot usage, set the proxy before creating the accounts.

I dont even know why would u want to use your real ip if you're going to use proxies anyways.
 
you can make 10 tumblrs with one ip, then use 1ip/account for the bot... tumblr seem check the ip you use for some last time... im so sure about this.
Why do you have to open tumblr with browser everyday? maybe some different way to do your things...
 
Yeah I decided to use the proxies to open the accounts.

The reason I asked is because I was creating the accounts manually and didn't want to have to change browser settings each time I opened a new account.

Make sure that you clear your browser's cache & cookies after the use of each proxy.

I forgot that part and learned about it's importance afterwards. Oh well. We'll see what happens. If the accounts get banned I'll start again.
