Opening an ebay store is full of problems?

I keep seeing people, losing their accounts, get restrictions on paypal and stuff like that, legal problems with some states, is this a common thing where you deal everyday? it sounds like too much troubleshooting. Is it possible to avoid all of this or is it out of your hand?

Usually if you don't do anything sketchy, and keep customer complaints to a minimal, you normally wouldn't have issues at all.
I've been selling on eBay for 10 years and never had a problem.

PayPal is more problematic but eBay is switching to direct CC processing soon so they are a moot point really.
 
Well ebay had an update that restricts some items that were able to be listed previously. They also no will randomly limit your account even if you are doing nothing wrong. Say if you sign in at a different time then you normally do. It isnt a problem for old accounts, not that I have seen or hear of yet but newer accounts 3months and less.... yes. If you want to open a store, I would say wait 3 months. Paypal is paypal they do the same thing with at least some regularity so expect to have to provide documents if too much money goes through your paypal.
 
First of all if you make an eBay store with your real details not a “stealth” account then everything is fine and will be easy to “fight” with any kinds of limitations om the account.

If you plan to go stealth then you need to buy some documents like (invoices / photo id / bill) to have it prepare for any kinds of limitation.
I’m in the stealth game for 7 years and i know how is it with them and i can tell you only this.
If you have a problem better call them so you can talk easily and to see if they can fix or not , if you email them you will loose time and $.
If you believe me my personal account was suspended 6 times and still working since i provide any documents and i pay my taxes and all my buyers are happy and feedbacks are good aswell , then you have a 90% chance for your account to be restored.
Sorry for writing so much but i can tell you from my experience if you make like i said will not be any problems in the future.
And a good tip , make more stealth accounts in case one is suspended and you don’t have the luck to restore it !

from where i can buy invoice and bill and photo id
 
One tip would be not to sell too much (total amount or quantity of the order) all of a sudden ease into it. I've been banned and can now never use PayPal with my name or moms even tho I never used paypal in my name. Another gold nugget is to have good credit with the SSN in the account. Trust me it matters that's how the robot can make "human decisions" of how risky you are. So keep that in mind if you wanna make good money using PayPal

if you sell over a thousand a month its worth it to get the Basic store subscription, after my first month of building a account i would invest in it, at least for me
 
i sell over a thousand a month. why is it worth getting a basic store subscription?
 
i tried looking at it on ebay and it seems the basic store subscription doesnt really benefit me much in increasing sales?

You get 1% off final value fees at least depending what you sell and you get more free listings per month. You get a eBay store too and that helps being shown on Google shopping I think.
 
Good question Sir, following this because I want to start eBay store since long but the same thing scares me.
 
Actually I want to sell a digital product, and still, I think this is not working on eBay, suggestion will help me and a lot of other people too.
