Opening an ad network (ppc.ppv.media buying)

I was wondering how one would go about opening an ad network , such as google adwords/adscends or direct cpv ect. (advertising companies in general)

i would like to know

1) how would you get advertisers/publishers

2) how would you track the clicks impressions

3) how would you promote this type of thing

4) start up? (i have around 20k right now that i just got paid )

i was watching garbashk chahal on you tube (i think thats how you spell his name) and he started an advertising agency when he was 16 ...he mentioned he made sales calls, but to who?

he is an inspiration and now that i have start up, i want to get into advertising and eventually sell

ANY advice, tips or location of knowledge would be awesome

Don't try and start something you know nothing about? This is one of those 'if you have to ask you shouldn't do it' type of things.

If you are serious about getting into the business, find a company that does exactly what you'd like to learn how to do, and grab a job or an internship for them to learn the answers to your questions..

If you can't sit down and write a basic business plan for something, you definitely shouldn't be throwing 20k at it and hoping everything works out.
 
I'd have to agree with the poster above.

Get an internship/job first...learn the business. How else are you going to sell your idea to everyone else?

OR...be the investor, and find someone who knows a lot about the business. Either way, 20k won't take you very far. I'd look at getting a seed investment from an angel or a VC.
 
Just crack open a book, most things u can learn from a book..besides being a doctor, lawyer, things like that...that u need practice with.
 
ummm im gonna have to disagree, im made 6g's a day from $0 with something i knew nothing about...getting a job is out of the question, also if you know who chahal is , he started with no knowledge, no money, and turned it into 350 mil

So for the last week we have someone who make 6K a day and another one who makes 500K a month :) I think Forbes will start posting names from here .
Seriously if you are making 6K a day why don t you just invest into someone who knows how to start a PPC or PPV Network ?

20K is not even enough for your float to stay positive... man you need at least bare min 6 figures to start a proper ad network and not forgetting other logistics, hardware/software equipments, employees payroll, utilities etc...

if you are telling no need all these, you can run it from your home basement and I can tell ya you won't be successful.
 
If you were looking to set up a ppv company im more than capable of getting

(as bhw puts it in there description)
"computers infected with adware"
