Usually the pizza restaurants I see are the most busy, and taste the best, don't have a catchy name, or slogan - just {family name} pizza.
If you're looking to grow and franchise, catchy name would probably be best, but if you're happy with 1 or 2 locations as a neighborhood hotspot, something simple is fine. There's more than enough restaurants, I highly doubt a catchy name is going to make or break your business.

I actually noticed this recently, but there's plenty of restaurants with the same name. I think they get around this by name it {family name} pizza/pizzeria {city}
