Leaks are suggesting that OpenAI is planning to launch their own browser which would most likely to defeat the need for Google on them.

Would you use it?

Hi! Yes, I woild try it. OpenAI’s could make browsing feel more like delegating tasks to a personal assistant, which is a game-changer for productivity. I would probably give it a spin to test the AI features, but I’d be cautious about making it my default until I see how they handle privacy

Privacy is a good point. I don't know who I would trust less, Google or OpenAI

Yes I might use it, if it had better features than a standard browser, if not then I might use, but I doubt i'd use it for chatgpt, I prefer edge for that.

I would like to think it would deliver better results than search engines especially Google which is cooked with garbage, ads, shitty site in first page.

But only time will tell, let’s wait for it.

It's will be interesting.

I will try and test.

Maybe use for a while.

Play with that in my free time.

BUT

Trust in them it's so hard for me.

I dont see myself using their browser as main browser or log in in some services.

Yeah, I'm paranoid with privacy and security.

BTW, may be cool.

Will them integrate with their products?

I bet yes.

Probably for some time. But its hard to move from a totally different browser when the browser youre using works just fine.

An OpenAI browser could definitely shake things up. It depends on the execution really. If it seamlessly integrates their AI models providing contextually relevant assistance and maybe even streamlines research tasks then yeah I'd probably give it a try.

Possibly
OpenAI has some huge plans, including social media and crypto integration with their own coin
Creating their own browser wouldn't be a surprise

Cool, I'd considere it, if it has some new features it could be a good alternative

It sounds cool in concept but honestly everything that sounds cool gets ruined somehow after it's release.
I'd probably be willing to give it a try if it handled privacy well (which is a big if - considering how much these companies love our data)

If you need virtual assistant, maybe yes. But for me, I enjoy browse with my brave

Yeah going to be interesting how they navigate privacy. They already have access to millions of people's thoughts everyday

If it’s fast, private, and has deep AI integration, I’d definitely try it. If it can cut out Google and still deliver solid results, even better. Curious to see how they handle search.
