OpenAI moved to a credit not threshold system ?

Just tried to create my 20th threshold account , same method as usual but this time they want credit up front !! Tried 3 times same result. Dropped on my Indian server same result !
Is the game up for cheap AI ??

They're tightening things up to avoid abuses.
 
Kind of expected due to the amount of people abusing their systems and not paying the threshold at the end of the month. It gets pretty costly for them.
 
Yeah, it's basically over when using the usual method.

Obviously, I will not reveal a method that still works, but it is still possible to get the full threshold and not lose API access for now. I'm pretty sure it will be patched pretty soon too, though.

So, change your approach on account creation and you may stumble upon it yourself while it still works. Just a heads up - it's a slow method and creating tons of accounts is basically impossible

Not surprised after seeing so many sellers on the forum. Was bound to get patched soon

This is not my sales thread so I'll just answer your question this once here since you asked but if you have further questions, maybe ask in my BST :)

I'm out of stock for larger quantities that have additional discount (5+ accounts) only. I do not make enough to be able to fill in the larger quantities with that method. I should probably disable that option completely since I doubt it will get easier to make the accounts ever again
 
I mean just think about this. Some people have $10,000 threshold and they automate and abuse the process. There's no way they would let this continue on forever :alien:
 
they are detecting or restricting, might be some time frame before enable again when detects weir patterns for account creation, like time you take, clicks, speed you move through the options and if is over the avarage you get out of stock message.
 
O ly established companies like google can survive with threshold model. New companies cannot sustain on this model.
