Open source, free or user generated synonym dictionary for spinning?

Does a dictionary like this exist.

There are free ones like hxxp://thesaurus.com/ but they are to broad and do not work well for article spinning.

Anyone know of one that work OK for simple word spinning?

If you search BHW, you'll find mentions of wordnet. Seems a lot of people have trouble figuring out which files to use. though. You can download the source files and look at the dict directory, or you can now just grab the dict directory by itself.

    hxxp://wordnet.princeton.edu/wordnet/download/current-version/

WNdb-3.0.tar.gz is the dict path alone. I have no idea which software (aside from wordnet) supports the files, but I can tell you from experience that it doesn't take much perl/php/etc to produce something that can do some nice word spinning based on those files.

I use the free version from spinner chief, but I do everything manually to prepare the spintax. If you just want to throw an article in, and get a spun version out a minute later then I don't know how that is done, but I assume it can be.

(btw I am in no way associated with them)
