Can any tell me what is Open Keywords as I heard 1st time in my seo career.
Please elaborate this.

That's surely not a very common SEO term,
Wherever you read this, you might want to ask the writer about what's he's referring to

First time hearing from you. Are sure this information is correct

"Open Keywords," as a term in SEO, doesn't have a widely recognized definition or usage. It could potentially refer to keywords that are broad in scope, not specifically targeted, or without a clear intent. It's important in SEO to focus on specific, targeted keywords that align with your content and audience to achieve better results in search engine rankings and user engagement.

I heard this first time from my new manager who hired me to work on his projects and now I am very confused after this.

I havn't found anywhere written but my manager said every time that you have to work on open keywords.

Mix head terms and long-tail keywords when choosing keywords. Head terms are short, competitive, high-volume keywords like “sound design.” They're hard to rank for, but it doesn't hurt to target them anyway as long as you also include long-tail keywords. Long-tails are what will really bring your site traffic.

It might be something specific within your niche or workplace, it may be a process or product used within the company.

It doesn't appear to be a universal term so you should be able to ask what they mean when they say Open Keywords. Explain that it isn't a term you are familiar with so would just like to clarify so you are all working with a familiar understanding.

Here's what Chatgpt responded to this
"Open keywords" in SEO typically refer to keyword suggestions provided by tools that do not require a paid subscription or access restrictions. These tools are often free and accessible, helping marketers identify popular and relevant keywords for their content strategies.

The only thing I can think of that would be relevant is "Open Keywords" would be keywords that are open for you to rank for them. They're easy/low competition keywords that are "open" to be ranked for.

I'm not 100% on that, that's just my interpretation of that phrasing pertaining to SEO.
